Willow Run Bomber Plant marks milestone in rebirth

The Willow Run Bomber plant recently marked a milestone in its rebirth. The historic plant is undergoing a radical transformation.

The Yankee Air Museum is developing the abandoned site where the legendary WWII B-24 was produced to become the new “National Museum of Aviation and Technology at Historic Willow Run,” an affiliate of the Smithsonian. It will be a museum inside a museum.
