ROYAL OAK, Mich. – Nearly $400,000 was raised for local organizations during the 2021 Soaring Eagle Arts, Beats and Eats festival -- the most contributions in the event’s history.
“The community turned out in full support of Arts, Beats & Eats this year. We delivered the most notable musical performers in the festival’s history, while serving up incredible food, top artists from across the country and lots of family fun,” said festival producer Jon Witz. “Mother Nature worked with us to serve up some absolutely amazing weather, as well. All of these factors contributed to a great turnout and record results.”
According to event organizers, $389,133.35 was raised during the Labor Day weekend event through admission fees, beverage proceeds, festival-sponsored community initiatives and more.
Additionally, roughly 3,000 pounds of food was collected, generating about 2,500 meals to be distributed to those experiencing food insecurity in Metro Detroit.
Since its inception in 1998, Arts, Beats and Eats has raised more than $6 million for charitable organizations.
