Flagstar Bank customers’ personal information stolen in ransomware attack, officials say
Flagstar Bank is warning customers that their personal information, including social security numbers, may have been stolen in a ransomeware attack. The company said the hack was discovered in January but customers said they were recently notified. Local 4 learned that the thieves got social security numbers as well home addresses not only of customers but also possibly employees. Flagstar has reached out to customers impacted and offering a credit monitoring service. The one-click Microsoft tool was created to protect against cyberattacks and to scan systems for compromises and fix them.

The CEO of Flagstar Bank drew a roadmap to change that starts at his own front door. Flagstar CEO Alessandro DiNello was 12-years-old the night the Detroit Rebellion and riots broke out in 1967. I grew up in Detroit," DiNello said. DiNello has been pushing for measurable, visible evidence of equality and inclusion since 2017 and is encouraging other companies to do the same. Dinello said the roadmap to creating racial equity in the workplace begins with hiring, developing and promoting minorities of all types.
Police: Man vandalizes Flagstar Bank in Bloomfield Township
BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Police are searching for a man who vandalized a Flagstar Bank in Bloomfield Township, officials said. The incident happened sometime between Oct. 12 and 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Flagstar Bank at 3915 Telegraph Road, police said. The manager told authorities a man spray-painted the outside walls, the parking lot and the dumpster enclosure. He is described as wearing blue jeans, a blue T-shirt and a black baseball cap with a Spider-Man logo on it. Anyone with information is asked to call Bloomfield Township police at 248-433-7755.
Exciting new highlights added to this year's Arts, Beats & Eats
Soaring Eagle Arts, Beat & Eats presented by Flagstar Bank runs Friday through Monday in downtown Royal Oak. This juried fine arts show features all different types of art ranging from jewelry and pottery to bright paintings. Arts, Beats & Eats also showcases art from artists living with disabilities. For the "Beats" portion of this event, nine different music stages will be setup featuring music from all different genres. Arts, Beats & Eats is free to enter until 5 p.m. on Friday, August 30th.

The Soaring Eagle Arts Beats and Eats presented by Flagstar Bank kicks off this Friday in downtown Royal Oak and one of the big parts is obviously the eats. Among the many tasty vendors will be the Wahlburgers food truck. Wahlburgers was created by the famous Walhberg family, with the three brothers each having their own signature burger. The food truck will be serving a limited menu at the festival which will include those three signature burgers, fries, and tater tots. Other food vendors include Prime 29 Steakhouse, Crispelli's, Sadona Tap House, Famous Dave's, Lockhart's BBQ and more.

Soaring Eagle Art, Beats & Eats presented by Flagstar Bank is Labor Day weekend in Royal Oak. Live In The D hosts Tati Amare and Jason Carr got a chance to hear Billy Gunther, a performer from the festival, play his new single "Picking Up" live in studio.
