DETROIT – Beech-Nut Nutrition is voluntarily recalling one lot of Beech-Nut Stage 1, Single Grain Rice Cereal due to arsenic levels.

No illnesses have been reported and no other rice cereal production dates or Beech-Nut products are impacted by the recall.

  • UPC Code No. 52200034705
  • Product codes 103470XXXX and 093470XXXX

The products were distributed nationally through retail stores and online.

The recall is due to a routine sampling program by the State of Alaska which found that samples from that lot tested above the guidance level for naturally occurring, inorganic arsenic. The guidelines were set by the FDA in August 2020.
