Immerse yourself in the House of Tarot’s second multi-artist exhibition, featuring 13 new artists who illuminate the journey of Brigid—the queer Celtic goddess of fire, poetry, and wisdom—through the Minor Arcana, while returning artists reinterpret the Major Arcana. Together, these creative visionaries form a living tarot deck that honors renewal, light, and the quickening of seeds beneath winter’s surface. This two-day massive art exhibition will be on view January 31st and February 1st at the Detroit Design District’s historic Boyer Campbell Building.

Zehnder’s Snowfest

Zehnder’s Snowfest has been one of the premier snow and ice sculpting events in North America for the past 34 years. Each year, visitors have the opportunity to admire larger-than-life snow sculptures and intricately detailed ice carvings. Additionally, Zehnder’s Snowfest offers entertainment for the whole family, including fireworks, a petting zoo, pony rides, live music, line dancing, and various activities for children.

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through March 1st Bowers School Farm is free and open to the public for visitors to meet their animals, enjoy their cozy bonfires and to indulge in a variety of comfort foods from their Farm Kitchen and Store. Visitors can also purchase tickets to ride down their tubing hill that takes you through a giant light tunnel. It is recommended to purchase tubing tickets in advance due to its popularity.
