Researchers create rabbits that glow in the dark
Glowing rabbits created by using jellyfish proteins
DETROIT – It's what we've all been waiting for: Glow in the dark bunny rabbits!
Who needs a night light?
Researchers in Turkey and Hawaii are showing off their glow-in-the-dark rabbits they created using jellyfish proteins, and injecting them into rabbit embryos. The lab used the idea developed by the University of Hawaii to breed a full colony of rabbits that would literally glow in the dark!
When the bunnies gave birth to eight little bunnies, two of them were glowing bright green in the dark. They say the furry animals are completely healthy.
