Brag Book: Kaylee Barton

Kaylee is a senior at Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte.

She founded the People’s Project to help battle youth mental illness.

“The People’s Project is very near and dear to her heart," said Kaylee’s dad, Jerry Barton. "One of her best friends committed suicide several years ago and it deeply affected her, and still does. That’s why she and her friend came up with the idea for People’s Project and took it to their counselor to get it approved as a school-sanctioned group.”
