Good Health: Woman’s dog alerted her to cancer
DETROIT – This woman’s connection with her dog goes well beyond the typical.
Stephanie Herfel has battled cancer three times. Each time, it was her dog that alerted her that something was wrong.
“She came up and put her nose on my belly, which I dismissed,” Herfel said.
Her dog, Sierra, did it multiple times and when Sierra became visibly upset, Herfel said she took a leap of faith and went to the doctor.
