Ten Thousand Villages is a store in Ann Arbor and a non-profit that helps support artists from all over the world.
Host Tati Amare was joined by Meredith Bruckner, the Community News Producer for AllAboutAnnArbor.com, and Carol Grafton who brought examples of what you may find there.
Bruckner said that when you purchase from Ten Thousand Villages you are supporting artists in their home country where it may be difficult to make a livable wage.
Grafton described the pieces as unique works of art. Some pieces include repurposed fabric from a different land or culture.
Ten Thousand Villages is located on Main Street in Ann Arbor.
