From everyday to an elegant look

It’s a big weekend for holiday parties, and Local 4 Style Editor Jon Jordan wants to help take your style from everyday to elegant, and he says it’s simple.

You don’t have to worry about a big elaborate hairstyle and a ton of makeup. Instead, Jon said you can go with slicked back hair and a statement piece like earrings, a necklace, pin or broach. Jon said he was inspired by “Live In The D” Reporter April Morton who shared how she recently used this trick before going to a holiday dinner.

Jon also suggests wearing embellished headbands and oversized bows, which he says are trending.
