You’ve got to try this Italian deli in Downtown Detroit

It’s a taste of Italy without leaving Metro Detroit

Who’s ready for the finest meats, cheeses, vegetables, herbs, desserts, and even different types of coffee?

Zach Kostegian from La Pecora Nera appeared on “Live in the D” to talk about the types of food you can enjoy at their locations in Detroit and Farmington. What makes this deli different than others is the different spices in the meat, which is also imported directly from Italy.

When appearing on the show he prepared a large ciabatta sandwich called the Italiano, which is usually made for events and parties, and feeds 4 to 6 people. He showcased some of the restaurants signature deli meats and bread who construction the stacked sandwich.

Along with their sandwiches, they also offer chocolate chip and white chocolate macadamia cookies.
