At a factory on Detroit’s westside they’re cooking up something special but it’s not for people. It’s actually a treat for our fur babies.
“On any given day we can make up to 10,000 lbs. of treats,” said David Collado, President of Happy Howie’s Natural Dog Treats.
He said this is all done by hand and the employees making the treats do so with love.
“For us, making such high quality treats with the ingredients that we use, and that passion that we put into it, is really important,” Collado said.
All the treats are processed, cooked, and packaged, right from their Detroit factory, and shipped across the country and parts of Canada.
