Family business brings flavors from around the world to Metro Detroit

Pangea Global Kitchen is in Grosse Pointe Woods

A family-owned business in Grosse Pointe Woods is striving to bring together flavors from around the world all in one place.

Murad Abusoboh and chef Alison Abusoboh are the husband-wife duo behind Pangea Global Kitchen. They met while teaching in Dubai, but later moved to Alison’s hometown in metro Detroit.

Murad explained that he missed his mom’s food, so she taught him how to cook the dishes from afar.

The Abusobohs are now sharing flavors from around the world through Pangea Global Kitchen. Indian butter chicken, grape leaves, musakhan, tabouli, and Sicilian lasagna are just a few of the options on their menu.

Pangea Global Kitchen is located at 20083 Mack Ave. in Grosse Pointe Woods. Watch the video above to learn more.
