For Music Monday on “Live in the D,” Detroit singer-songwriter Julia Rose stopped by the show to give a sneak peek at what she’s been working on and chat about her baby girl, Gracie.
“While I was pregnant, I wasn’t really performing...so I wrote a lot of songs in my room and now I’m just really happy to share all of them,” Julia Rose said.
“A lot of these songs are about rebirth, change,” she explained.
Julia Rose is releasing her album “New Skin” on her birthday, December 27th.
She performed her single “My Room” on the show.
