DETROIT – Detroit police said a 7-year-old boy was taken without permission by his birth mother.
Police said Phillip Waller was taken by his mother, Lora Ann Waller, from a barber shop in the 1800 block of Livernois Avenue.

Phillip Waller stands 4 feet tall and weighs between 40 and 50 pounds. He has a low hair cut and is quiet, police said.
He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a black polo jacket with a red emblem, blue pants and blue boots.
He has good physical and mental condition.
