Macomb County Sheriff's deputy surrenders to face embezzlement charge

Veteran Macomb County Sheriff's deputy arraigned in Romeo courtroom

MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A veteran deputy in the Macomb County Sheriff's department surrendered Monday to face an embezzlement charge.

Deputy Bobbi Jo Craft formerly served as treasurer of the Romeo Lions Club. She was arraigned Monday on a charged of embezzling thousands of dollars by falsifying checks over a five month period.

A former caretaker at the Romeo Lions Club facility has also been charged with embezzlement in the case.

Todd Walker has been arraigned and is free on bond.
