WB I-94 reopens after semi-gravel hauler crash prompts closure in Detroit Tow trucks are on the scene trying to resolve the situation

DETROIT – The westbound lanes of I-94 at Van Dyke Avenue reopened after a crash closed it for several hours Wednesday, May 1.
A semi-gravel hauler became stuck underneath the Frontenac Avenue overpass in Detroit at about 2:30 p.m.
The Frontenac Avenue overpass had been closed along with the entrances to westbound I-94 at Van Dyke and Gratiot avenues.
Inspection of the overpass will be done to determine how much damage has been done to the overpass.
The area opened to normal traffic just after 6 p.m.
