Cecelia Cichan was the sole survivor of Northwest Airlines Flight 255
Cecelia Cichan, the lone survival of a plane crash in Metro Detroit, is taking part in a special film to tell the story of sole survivors of plane crashes.
The project is called "Sole Survivor" and filmmakers need help with funding.
Cecelia is the only person to survive the Northwest Airlines Flight 255 plane crash that killed 156 people in 1987. Her mother, father and brother were killed in the crash when the plane went down moments after taking off from Detroit Metro Airport.
Cecelia is breaking her silence to be in the documentary. The filmmakers have been accepting donations and contributions through a website. The money raised will put the finishing touches on the film. You can donate to Cecelia's project and also to many other different worthy causes and projects.
If all goes as planned, the film will be completed later this year and there may be a premiere in Metro Detroit.
