Powell's pregnancy took a turn for the worse Sunday afternoon.

She began to have serious chest pains.

It is believed her oldest daughter called 911 and minuets later Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies arrived.

"They pulled her out of the house on a stretcher and were doing chest compressions on her." said neighbor Loni Cloum.

Powell and her unborn twins were pronounced dead at the hospital Sunday evening.

What went wrong with the healthy mother who had no pregnancy complications?

Doctors say Sheena died of peripartum cardiomyopathy a rare, life-threatening condition that causes the heart to enlarge.

It can occur in pregnant women who are often healthy.

"Hope that everyone can heal from losing somebody close to their family. She was a mother. I hope the kids can get past that." said Flores.
