Canton police investigating bullet hole found in woman's car

Canton joins other agencies investigating shootings at cars in Washtenaw County

CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Canton police are investigating whether a bullet hole that ended up in a woman's car is linked to recent shootings that have targeted cars in Washtenaw County.

Police said the woman reported the hole Tuesday, but isn't sure how or where it happened. She drives from Ann Arbor to Canton for work.

Motorists asked to be on lookout after shootings

Michigan State Police, Pittsfield Township Police and the FBI are investigating three other shootings that happened Monday in Bridgewater Township and Pittsfield Township.

No one has been hurt.

I-96 roadway shooting suspect

Last year, people in southeast Michigan were on alert after a series of shootings on and near Interstate 96. Raulie Casteel is jailed on attempted murder and other charges on accusations he fired on two dozen people.
