Reward offered to catch robber who targeted 7-Eleven in Canton Township

Clerk not hurt when robber gets away with cash from store on Warren Road in May

CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Canton Township police are looking for a robber who targeted a 7-Eleven store on Warren Road last month.

Police said the man, who was caught on surveillance cameras at the store, confronted the clerk during the early morning hours of May 28 and demanded money while pointing what is thought to be a gun at her.

The clerk wasn't hurt.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the man in the surveillance pictures to call the Canton Township Police Department at 734-394-5400 or Crime Stoppers at 800-SPEAKUP. There is a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.

Robber description from police:

White man in his mid-20s to 30 years old, about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a hoodie and pants with nylon over his head.

Getaway car description:

Dark-colored Volkswagen Jetta, mid 2000's, with a white strip along the bottom of the

vehicle and aftermarket rims.
