DEARBORN, Mich. – Police say 23-year-old Rolex Dior Johnson, of Oak Park, was killed in a shooting Friday at around 2 a.m. in Dearborn.
Johnson was found on Ford Road between Oakman Boulevard and Wyoming Avenue. He collapsed on the side of the street with injuries from the shooting. He was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
Authorities are investigating the incident and will release more information later this morning.
"We do believe there was a connection between the assailant and the victim here," said Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad. "We don't believe it was random."
Police are searching for a white SUV that may be involved in the incident.
