DETROIT – Detroit police on Wednesday released the picture of a man who is wanted in connection with a robbery and shooting.
Police said the 45-year-old victim was sitting in his car in the 5700 block of Fischer Street around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday when a man pproached and asked for a cigarette through the car's window.

As the victim was about to give the man a cigarette, the man produced a gun and told the victim to give him everything. The victim gave up his wallet and cellphone, but was shot, police said.
The victim is expected to recover.
