LINCOLN PARK, Mich. – A stretch of northbound I-75 in the downriver area is expected to be closed for at least a week after a tanker fire crash.
NB I-75 closed from Southfield Road to Outer Dr. (You can re-enter at Outer Drive)
The southbound lanes had also been closed, but reopened just after 11 a.m.

Fort St. (However Fort St. bridge is closed over Rouge River), Dix Hwy., or I-94
Michigan State Police Lt. Mike Shaw said the crash was reported about 3 a.m. Thursday. It appears the tanker struck the median before catching fire. No other vehicles were involved. The tanker driver is in critical condition.
