Forecast: Stretch of 'perfect' weather continues in metro Detroit

DETROIT – So we only have one more full day of summer left, but Mother Nature is ignoring that fact.

We've got a long stretch of nearly perfect weather that will last well into next week, maybe even into October!

Overnight, any clouds that are hanging out today will fade, leaving us with clear skies and a cool finish. Lows will range from the mid 40s in the outlying areas to around 50 in the city.

Tuesday forecast:

Sunshine returns for Tuesday, along with low humidity. Temperatures will be slightly higher, in the mid 70s. Average highs for this time of year are in the low 70s.

If you're ok with all of this, you're going to be over the moon with the rest of the 10-Day Forecast.

We've virtually rubber-stamped Tuesday's forecast all the way through the end of the month! The only drawback is that there is not a single drop of rain through the same stretch. We've picked up only slightly more than an inch of rain so far this month. So it looks like we likely will finish September with the same total.
