Police said the bank robber implied that he had a weapon, but one wasn't shown.
Police described the bank robber as a white man in his 30s or 40s, with a medium build, 5 feet, 9 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall.
He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and a black hat with tape covering logos.
Police said Monday's bank robber matched the description of a man who robbed the same location on April 16 and another TCF Bank on Big Beaver Avenue on Sept. 10.
