WATERFORD, Mich. – Waterford police have released photos of man who tried to steal several boxes that were left outside a home Thursday so they could be picked up by UPS.
A homeowner in the 3000 block of Pomeroy Street told police a man pulled into her driveway and started loading the boxes into a red Dodge Neon.

When the homeowner confronted the man, he told her the boxes had books in them that were for him, police said.
When the homeowner started taking pictures of the man on her cell phone, he unloaded the boxes and fled.
