In July 2015, Kortes allegedly assaulted the manager of Ray’s Ice Cream in Royal Oak.

According to Royal Oak police, Kortes reached over the counter and slapped the manager because they were out of the flavor ice cream she wanted.

Police said Kortes quickly fled the business after the assault.

Surveillance video shows the incident:

In June 2016, the manager saw a newspaper article describing an incident at a Kroger Grocery store in Bloomfield Township where a customer drop-kicked a special order cake she didn’t like. The cake featured Batman versus Superman.

Kortes was convicted of disorderly conduct.

The manager saw a photo in the article and recognized Kortes.
