House explodes on Evergreen Road in Detroit; no injuries reported

DETROIT – Investigators were on the scene of a house explosion Friday morning on Detroit's west side.

Debris can be seen scattered in the Detroit neighborhood on Evergreen Road just south of Warren Avenue. It happened just after 3 a.m. Friday.

MichCon investigators are inspecting what is left of the home. A gas leak is suspected. 

Authorities say that no one was injured as a result of the explosion and that no one was inside the house.
