VIDEO: Vehicle rolls over in Southwest China tunnel

Surveillance footage was released Tuesday of a vehicle rollover that occurred in a tunnel in Southwest China last month.

The footage shows the vehicle hitting the brakes and swerving into the tunnel wall before rolling upside-down. Sparks fly as the vehicle slides on its roof before coming to a stop.

The man and the woman walked away from the wreckage with only slight scratches.

The accident reportedly occurred when the driver attempted to overtake another vehicle. The driver claimed that she was not wearing shoes and unable to feel the strength of her braking.

The damaged car was removed soon after the accident.
