Cops: 12-year-old Michigan boy stabs man to protect mother No description found
CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Mich. – A 12-year-old boy stabbed a man during a domestic assault situation early Monday morning.
The incident took place at a home on Lake George Road on Sugar Island, just after midnight on Monday. WPBN/UpNorthLive reports the following information:
According to the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office, during a domestic assault, a man fired multiple rounds into the floor. A 12-year-old boy, fearing for his mother's life, then stabbed the suspect four times in the back. During the fight, the suspect ran out of the house looking for the boy. The mother and the child ran out the back door in an attempt to escape the suspect.
Both the mother and son are safe, WPBN reports. The man was arrested several hours later and treated for his stab wounds.
