SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – Law enforcement responded Wednesday to reports of shots fired at a high school in Rockford, Washington, according to NBC affiliate KHQ.
All Spokane Public Schools, the Central Valley School District and the Mead District were all on lockdown due to the shooting.

Spokane Sheriff's deputies are going room to room, floor by floor, searching the building. Brian Schaeffer of the Spokane Fire Department says the threat "has been eliminated."
