DETROIT – Police are investigating after a teenage boy was shot Thursday night in Southwest Detroit.
Police said the 15-year-old was shot in the stomach in the 1900 block of Sharon Street at a suspected drug house, police said.
He is listed in critical but stable condition, police said.
Officers were the ones who rushed him to a hospital.
"They did a great job to convey the youth themselves and administered first aid on route. They made it to a local hospital and the child underwent emergency surgey," said Cpt. Darin Szilagy.
