1 dead after car crashes into back of semi-truck in Wayne County

Crash happened near Telegraph and Sibley roads Tuesday

WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – A person has died after a car crashed into the back of a semi-truck in Brownstown Township Tuesday morning.

The crash happened at around 9:30 a.m. in the area of Telegraph and Sibley roads on Aug. 18.

According to police, one person in a van died at the scene after crashing into the back of the semi-truck. No other injuries were immediately reported.

It’s not clear what led to the deadly crash. The investigation is ongoing.
