Police release sketches of suspects in fatal shooting on Detroit's west side

DETROIT – Police released sketches Tuesday afternoon of two men wanted in a fatal shooting over the weekend on Detroit’s west side.

The shooting happened Sept. 25 at about 11:45 p.m.

Police said two armed men knocked on a door at a home in the 18900 block of Coyle Street and when the door opened, the men announced a hold-up and fired shots.

A 22-year-old man was fatally wounded. A 23-year-old man was treated for non-fatal injuries.

Police said the men fled on foot towards 7 Mile Road with an undisclosed amount of cash.
