2 use sledgehammer to break into Safes & Guns Unlimited in Keego Harbor

KEEGO HARBOR, Mich. – Police are looking for two people who stole firearms and ammunition from a Keego Harbor gun store after breaking into the business with a sledgehammer.

The thieves broke out the front window of Safes & Guns Unlimited on Orchard Lake Road, near Commerce Road, about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said. Several long guns and ammunition were taken from the store.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Detective Robert Barnes at 248-682-3030 or at barnes@khpd.org.

Police are also asking that nearby businesses or residents who may have surveillance video from the time of the incident contact Barnes. Also, if you are missing a long handled sledgehammer, you are asked to contact police.
