Recall issued on cat food over fears product may be contaminated with salmonella

DETROIT – A recall has been issued on two pound frozen bags of Quest beef cat food over fears it may be contaminated with salmonella.

The recall was issued after a sample of the product tested positive for salmonella. No illnesses have been reported. The bags were distributed nationwide through retail stores.
