Novi High School, Macy’s donate $10,000 to launch Fordson business incubator class

Novi students’ products sold at retailer

DEARBORN, Mich. – Dearborn’s Fordson High School will launch a business incubator program next school year, thanks to a $10,000 donation from Novi High School and Macy’s.

Half of that money comes from the sale of products from Novi students who are in a class that pitched product ideas to Macy’s.

The products were sold at the Twelve Oaks Mall Macy’s store, with 10 percent of the proceeds being dedicated to help other schools start similar programs.

The other $5,000 was donated by the Macy’s at Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn. Fordson hopes to offer students a program and partnership similar to the one Novi students participate in.
