BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The man accused of making threats against the Oakland County Republican Headquarters and Michigan GOP Youth Chair, Krish Mathrani, is set to be sentenced next month after accepting a plea deal for a lesser sentence.
Ryan Lewis Vallance, 34, of Waterford, pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of making a false report/threats of terrorism — which carries a sentence of up to 20 years in prison.

According to Bloomfield Township police, Vallance used a Facebook account to send threatening messages to the Oakland County GOP in November 2025, allegedly expressing intentions to use “Molotov cocktails for MAGA” and to “eradicate” them and their donors.
Officials said the Facebook profile began making audio calls to the GOP, threatening to shoot up the county GOP headquarters and to set it on fire. He also reportedly threatened to “put a bullet” in Mathrani’s head and kill everyone who worked at the office, according to investigators.
Vallance was arrested on Nov. 22 following a traffic stop near his residence. In an interview with detectives, Vallance admitted to making the threats, adding that he made them out of anger for President Donald Trump and the GOP.
His sentencing is scheduled to take place at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 31.
