AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Crews responding to a fire Friday night in Auburn Hills found the body of a 77-year-old woman in the home.
Authorities saw light smoke coming from the home in the 4000 block of Bald Mountain Road about 11:24 p.m. Sharon Meer was found dead inside the house during an initial search.
Meer's cause of death is unknown, pending toxicology results, but authorities said there appears to be no foul play.
The fire remains under investigation.
