A Berkley man who faces charges in connection to a sexual assault in Livonia is considered a person of interest in the missing case of Danielle Stislicki.
Floyd Russell Gallloway Jr. is charged with kidnapping, criminal sexual conduct with intent to commit penetration, and assault with intent do great bodily harm by strangulation in connection to the attack on Sept 4, 2016 at Hines Park in Livonia. His connection to Stislicki's case is unclear for now, but police said they have spoken to him and searched his home in Berkley. At one point he and Stislicki both worked at the same building in Southfield.

"The detectives investigating the Stislicki case have spoken to Galloway in the past and have conducted previous searches at his Berkley home," Farmington Hills police said in statement released Wednesday. "Galloway is a former security guard who worked for a contracted company that previously provided security at MetLife in Southfield where Danielle Stislicki was employed. Galloway was acquainted with Danielle during his security duties at MetLife."
Berkley home searched in December
The home in Berkley was searched on Dec. 22, 2016, about three weeks after Stislicki went missing. Law enforcement searched the home, which is in the 2900 block of Oxford Road in Berkley. Sources told Local 4 a mattress and other items were taken out of the home. Neighbors said the man living at the home had not been seen in Berkley since police searched the home.
Officers carried a mattress out of the home. Local 4 was told some floorboards were confiscated by authorities and sent off for testing. Police also removed a car from the garage.
Galloway, 30, has a clean criminal past, other than a misdemeanor charge for operating while intoxicated back in 2008. He pleaded guilty to the charge and received 6 months probation.
Stislicki left MetLife in Southfield on Dec. 2, 2016 and was supposed to meet a friend for dinner that evening. She never showed up to that meeting and was never heard from again. Her Jeep was found the next day parked outside her Farmington Hills apartment.
"The Stislicki case remains an active investigation," said Farmington Hills Police Chief Chuck Nebus. "The pieces of the puzzle have been slowly falling into place since Danielle disappeared on December 2. Investigators are optimistic the case will be solved. They will not rest until justice is obtained for Danielle and the Stislicki family."
Meanwhile, police in Allen Park said they are investigating whether the Livonia Hines Park sexual assault suspect, now identified as Galloway, is connected to a June 10, 2017 sexual assault in their city.
