Family booted off Delta flight after being told to give up seat their child was using

Another airline confrontation was caught on camera showing a Southern California family being booted off a Los Angeles-bound Delta Air Lines flight after they refused to give up a seat that was occupied by their infant son.

According to Los Angeles affiliate KNBC, Brian Schear, of Huntington Beach, was with his wife and two infants from Maui to Los Angeles International Airport on April 23 when they were kicked off the plane.

In the video, Schear says he purchased a ticket for his older son, who took an earlier flight. The family decided the younger son could use the seat.

The staff told Schear his younger son couldn’t use the seat because a different name is on it, not the infant’s.

Schear refused and an employee tells him refusing to get off the plane was a federal offense and he could be jailed.

“You and your wife will be in jail and your kids will be in foster care,” an employee tells the man.
