Feds find arsenal, drugs and cash in Shelby Township and Detroit raids

SHELBY TWP., Mich. – Agents from Homeland Security Investigations found an arsenal, large amount of drugs and cash during two raids conducted simultaneously Thursday at a Shelby Township home and business in Detroit.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Federal Court on Friday, Nua Gjokaj has been charged with possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.

During the search of his home, located on Chirco Court in Shelby Township, agents found 33 guns, approximately five pounds of marijuana and more than $90,000 in cash.

HSI Agents also raided his business, Da Facility, located in the 5700 of Chene in Detroit and allegedly found twenty-one guns, some of which had their serial numbers scratched off, 334 grams of heroin hidden in a furnace in the basement and nearly 1500 prescription narcotics.

Gjokaj has not been formally arraigned on the charges yet.
