SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A 21-year-old man from West Bloomfield is accused of shooting someone at a gas station.
Southfield police said they were called Sunday, May 3, 2026, to an Exxon gas station because of a shooting.

Jeremiah Tyler Clemons, 21, of West Bloomfield is accused of shooting a person after the two got into an argument.
Police said the shooting victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Clemons is charged with assault with intent to murder, felony firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon.
“Guns are not an acceptable way to solve problems,” Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said. “This defendant’s alleged actions injured one person and endangered bystanders.”
Assault with intent to murder has a maximum penalty of life in prison, carrying a concealed weapon has a maximum penalty of five years in prison, and the felony firearm violation carries a penalty of up to two years in prison.
Clemons was given a $250,000 bond and must wear a GPS tether, if released.
