Although the hatred is clear in Eminem's voice, there were simpler times where it was all fun and games.

Back in 2004, MTV staged a fake "national convention" for Eminem's launch of Shade 45, the rapper's Sirius XM channel.

The mock convention mirrored that of a political convention, with speeches, crowds, signs and analysis.

Oddly enough, Donald Trump was there - and he said some very nice things about Slim Shady.

Trump took the stage to "endorse" Eminem for "president," while saying other complementary things about him.

Trump was introduced as "man most likely to post Eminem's bail."

"He's got brains, he's got guts, and he's got Donald Trump's vote," Trump said in his speech.
