MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – Authorities have released more information on the victims shot during an annual block party in Mount Clemens Saturday night.
The shooting happened at around 11 p.m. on July 4 near the intersection of Court and Clemens streets, where the neighborhood gathering was underway.

When deputies arrived, they found five people suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office said the victims received treatment for their injuries at an area hospital.
A 10-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man from Mount Clemens were discharged from the hospital on July 5. A 15-year-old boy from Mount Clemens, a 19-year-old man from Mount Clemens and a 36-year-old woman from Clinton Township remain in the hospital but are expected to recover.
A suspect is not in custody. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office at (586) 307-9412.
