Whitmer, Michigan lawmakers announce ‘bipartisan legislation’ ahead of Veterans Day

Whitmer holds press conference with several state lawmakers

LANSING, Mich. – Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and state lawmakers announced “bipartisan legislation” ahead of Veterans Day.

A press conference was held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitmer was joined by Sen. Adam Hollier, Sen. John Bizon, Rep. Sarah Anthony, Rep. Andrea Schroeder, LARA Director Orlene Hawks, MVAA Director Zaneta Adams, Adjutant General DMVA Director Major General Paul D. Rogers and Lt. Col. Karen Sims.
