Shooting on Detroit’s east side kills 2

DETROIT – Police are investigating a fatal shooting on Detroit’s east side.

It happened Friday afternoon at a home on Lantz Street, near John R. Street, just south of State Fair Avenue.

Police said a 21-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman were killed in a shooting that followed an altercation.

The investigation is ongoing.
