While this is a heartbreaking situation, Michigan does not have a per se law pertaining to the amount of marijuana in a person’s system, as it does with alcohol. No standardized testing has been developed and approved that provides a direct correlation between the level of marijuana in an individual’s system and an impact on their ability to drive to give rise to a felony charge in this specific case.
