Undercover agent chats with Creed-Boehm

An undercover agent with Homeland Security Investigations created a profile Dec. 11 on an encrypted instant messaging application and acted as an adult with access to a child, according to authorities.

While using the app, the agent said he noticed one user -- later determined to be Creed-Boehm -- had posted a nude image of a young girl.

The agent began to chat with Creed-Boehm, who said he had engaged in sexual acts with children, the complaint says. Creed-Boehm sent the agent videos of child pornography and links to additional child pornography images that had been stored online, officials said.

Creed-Boehm, 36, of Genesee County, asked if the agent had any daughters and sent explicit videos of himself to the agent, according to court records.

Creed-Boehm admitted to performing sex acts on a 4-year-old girl and said he “made sure that I told her to keep everything secret,” the complaint reads.

He asked the agent for the name of the agent’s “daughter” and for details about what she was wearing, court records say.

The next day, Creed-Boehm reached out to the agent and asked how the daughter was doing, authorities said. He also sent two folders that contained several child pornography videos and pictures, according to officials.

Creed-Boehm asked for more information about the daughter on Dec. 14. During the conversation he admitted to further sexual acts with children of various ages, the complaint says.

“Creed-Boehm also referred to himself as a ‘pedo,’ which I know to be a commonly used term for a pedophile among people with a sexual interest in children,” the agent wrote in the complaint.

Creed-Boehm told the agent, “I love all young ages,” according to court records.

Search warrant at Creed-Boehm’s home

Officials searched Creed-Boehm’s home on Dec. 15. His cellphone was logged into the account that had been used to chat with the undercover agent, authorities said.

Hundreds of videos of child pornography were found in the “Files” folder of the cellphone, the criminal complaint says.

While the agent was reviewing Creed-Boehm’s cellphone, he found pictures of a young girl. He asked Creed-Boehm about the girl, and Creed-Boehm said the pictures had been taken at the home of Dunn while both Dunn, 41, and Hippensteel, 45, were present, according to authorities.

Officials found a conversation between Creed-Boehm and Hippensteel in which they discussed sexual acts with a young girl, court records show.

Search warrant at home of Dunn, Hippensteel

On Dec. 20, authorities searched the home of Dunn and Hippensteel while both were present.

During the search, officials said they found evidence of both men sexually abusing the same young girl who had been seen on Creed-Boehm’s cellphone.

During a separate interview, a woman told police that she had seen a video of Dunn sexually abusing the girl.

Several child pornography videos and images at the home also included Creed-Boehm, according to authorities.

Hippensteel admitted to filming at least one of the videos, claiming he thought it was “funny.”

Further allegations against Dunn

Dunn was also accused in January 2021 of sexually assaulting a young girl. She told authorities that he had abused her between the ages of 9 and 12 years old.

The girl also told officials that she had seen Dunn watching child pornography on his laptop.

Charges

The criminal complaint against Creed-Boehm concludes there’s probable cause that he knowingly possessed, distributed, and/or received child pornography.

The criminal complaint against Dunn concludes there’s probable cause that he both attempted to produce child pornography and did produce child pornography.

The criminal complaint against Hippensteel concludes there’s probable cause that he attempted to produce and distribute child pornography, and also produced, distributed, and possessed child pornography.
